@koimark This is the picture-in-picture feature. It's built into Opera. The feature I'm asking for is to be able to use as many pip windows as I want, at the same time.

How are you supposed to go to another work space with the sidebar turned off? Shouldn't this be readily be available without defining a custom shortcut for each work space?

this feature should have been off by default... imo any "feature" that is not critical or solely for aesthetics should be off by default and a tour should be implemented on new features letting you decide if you want it on or off

Sorted - Opera changed the name of the file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d so there were two there. This causes a different problem and I foolishly deleted the wrong one to fix that.

The one with 'archive' in the name is the old one, right? Wrong...

The latest opera on my android was updated 15 May so I am left wondering when it will be fixed ? Thanks for your input...

I was referring to CVE-2025-4664 which is a very dangerous zero day bug, being exploited now, that allows attackers to collect all the sensitive info users enter into forms, making it impossible to securely access sensitive websites like banks etc..
This vulnerability was highlighted by malwarebytes on 19th may, so I'm guessing this was not fixed in the opera release I downloaded from Google Play on 15th May.

Also, can you tell us whether opera on windows 7 has this vulnerability or if the chromium version used predates it and is safe?
