@Mlipka hi.. i like vertical tabs because it can minimal the space on top. and make it neater if i could have a show tabs when hover.
For the vertical tabs can be show to hover or show a small icons of the tabs when not hover, and then snap into a longer description tabs when hover for 0.5sec. i think the best vertical tabs i can say for now is the one edge have.
the vanished theme (the theme becomes white) is still persist. please fix. its getting really annoying. everytime i play a video in fullscreen after watching for a while, when i un-fullscreen the video, the theme is gone to plain white. only if i go to new tab, the theme is coming back.
@Opera-Comments-Bot can android get the same design as ios please??
@nkgrzegorzewicz i ask aria. But aria only reply me an instructions how to use tab island. Which is annoying. Plus, i dont want to waste time typing for a whole sentence and describing whats need to be group. Thats why i ask for a smarter auto group island.
@leocg yes when for example i open pinterest and anothe pinterest or when i click new tab of the image on pinterest. It will auto group them. But if i open pinterest then youtube then later pinterest, opera wont recognize the prev pinterest. And it also limits on same website. Cant the same theme. For example. Youtube, netflix, etc the same kind. Wont recognize.
so none of my tabs got automatically tab island. Im too lazy to do it myself. Make the automatic tab island smarter by recognizing similar website together. or at least have an option to click 'automatic tab island' for the browser to think which to be group them with. example. all AI websites together, all entertainment (videos; youtube, netflix, other video playing websites) together.
Cause right now the automatic grouping only affects when i open at the same time the same website.
@leocg same im using opera developer, using ethereal theme. always 100% it goes white whenever i play video on fullscreen and change back to un-fullscreen it. If i go to new tab and wait for a few seconds, the theme will be back. i already give feedback to opera.
@LalapanSayurEnak selera sih. Tp klo buatku. Theme/UI nya cantik. free vpn walo gk bs pilih region, adblocknya klo pc kn ublock origin. Klo di android ada enhanced adblock yg make ublock origin jg jd mantap. Di pc enk di pke, di android juga enk dipake. Chrome androidnya gk bisa address bar di bawah. Opera bisa. Edge aku suka cmn ada video yg gk bs jalan di edge android. Di android uda ada folder dan bisa pindah2 tab. Trus inovasi opera juga biasa paling pertama, gk sering nyontek dan bagus, sering update. Minusnya di aku cuman gak ada vertical tabs.
@Ankizudo you can drag individual tabs. Just go to opera social media in twitter, insta or threads. There is a video for android. You can see how it goes.
hi, can you please make vertical tabs available please. I like less stuff on the top bar please.
A lot of people asking for vertical tabs and all other browsers give option, why opera still not implement vertical tabs? btw the vertical tabs add on not working and not good at all
nevermind, i found a keyboard shortcut to open and hide sidebar, so ill just use that instead. its good enough

@Zulqarnain0020 not really, because the + symbol for new tab, is really easy to click and always shows all the time. plus ctrl+t is easy to press as well.. While the x button for each tab doesnt show unless i hover, and need a bit more precision for each tab if i want to close fast. especially when the tabs are a lot and the tabs becomes smaller.
@leocg yes and i already explain. that the auto hides can show up whenever i hover near it and its disturbing. Sometimes I need to hover to the left side, say to click something on the website Im in, that coincidentally near the sidebar. Then, the side bar shows, but I need to wait for it to auto hides it so that I could cautiously click something on the website near the sidebar without making the side bar comes out.
I need a button when I click, the side bar then comes out. So I dont unintentionally make the side bar shows.
